This website provides general information about VCR repair and VHS care. It is not a substitute for inspection of a specific machine or tape, and no website statement guarantees that a unit can be repaired.

Estimates and authorization

Service recommendations depend on inspection, condition and parts availability. Any estimate, scope and authorization for work will be discussed for the individual job. Additional faults discovered during service may require a revised recommendation.

Vintage equipment and media

Older electronics and magnetic tape can fail without warning. Customers should disclose valuable, fragile or irreplaceable media. Reasonable care is taken, but age-related failure and pre-existing damage cannot always be prevented.
